In 1997 God had a plan that we did not even see
and many lives in both humane and horse communities have changed forever with the touch of true love of one woman's dream driven by God. May God hold this precious ranch and woman tenderly in his hands and protect and heal...

God's plan was to create an open range ranch for both abused, dying, neglected, whole, beautiful, special need horses, adults and children alike....A rescue which not only provides care, ! rehabilitation and adoption for horses but also educational programs for humane in prevention of abuse, anger management, equine riding rehabilitation, community service, last rides for terminally ill children and adults, low income families, single parent families, and much more...

On a back 40 acre open range in the middle of no where we thought we would not be noticed and operated quietly like the wind whispering in the trees but God had other plans!  Rebecca and her two boys were not prepared for the out pour of cries for help.  The past four years Dove Hill has helped out 505 people and 135+ horses with the numbers still growing. People and horses together is how the horse shall survive the development of lands and sands of time.  For with out the people the horse has no place to be. With inventions of cars the horse's purpose has become one of leisure. So God has created you and ranches like Dove Hill that will protect you and educate the human care giver to lessen the chances of abuse, neglect.   These horses and humans alike have learned to trust, respect, love and bonding as a herd. 

We have taken in all kinds of horses for all kinds of reasons.

Reaching from Ocala to Boca Raton Florida for the horses and helping people in four different surrounding counties, Dove Hill as simple as it is has managed to create a piece of range for all broken horses and people alike. If you are not looking for a horse to adopt, we ask that you please help us with a donation. ALL donations go directly to the care of the horses.  We have NO paid staff. We all volunteer to keep the hope and the horses alive. Thank you.
