Buddy

Buddy, an 8-yr. old dark chestnut Paso fino, was donated  December 2004 to Dove Hill Horse Ranch.  Buddy was saved by his previous owner from being sent to slaughter by buying Buddy.  Unfortunately, Buddy had come down with a skin condition and back issues.  After trying everything, Buddy was found to need 3cc of Dex in his food twice a day when itching.  His old owners managed to get Buddy back into wonderful condition.  But Buddy still needed a lot of re training due to the abuse and muscle tone to help with the back.  Buddy, who must have suffered extreme tram, will not come to human or horse.  Rebecca, founder of Dove Hill, after only two hours of having Buddy was petting on Buddy.  Buddy is now coming into food but if you do not have a halter in hand Buddy will walk away.  Isn’t it suppose to be run when you see the halter?  LOL!!  Buddy is now helping Angie, a single parent with special needs, built confidence and develop friendship bond.  Thank you Buddy and Angie.  Buddy should be ready for adoption in June of this year depending on his mental development
