Black Beauty
Black Beauty came to Dove Hill from Last Chance Ranch since LCR needed room for other horses. Black Beauty made Dove Hill his home July of 2003. This wonderful 14-yr. old Tennessee walker mix had a clubfoot with a 4% rotation on coffin bone due to founder. Dove Hill’s Ferrier, Bill McCurdy, worked on Black Beauty and was able to correct the club and allow Black Beauty to become rideable. Blacky rode well with a stern rider. Ginger and her family later adopted Black on December 26, 2003. To this day Blacky who is now called Buddy still lives with Ginger and her family but is not rideable. Blacky is happy, fat and being loved by the whole family. Thank you Ginger for loving and keeping Blacky
